Brooke Snider, Softball

The Indian Hills Community College Athletic Department has named freshman Brooke Snider as April’s Student-Athletes of the Month. This accolade honors student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding commitment in both their respective sport, as well as the classroom.

Snider, a native of Rhodes, Iowa has been a force at the plate during the month of April. Brooke has complied 24 runs, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 10 homeruns and 36 RBI’s all while maintaining a .483 batting average. “Brooke is a true competitor and loves being on the ball field. It doesn’t matter what time, what conditions or who, she is always ready to play. Her passion for the game takes her to the next level and she takes pride in wearing the Indian Hills jersey,” commented Head Softball Coach Lindsay Diehl. Snider and the Warriors will be back in action on Friday at 10:00am in Marshalltown for the first round of the Region XI Tournament.
