Harry Doig, Golf

The Indian Hills Community College Athletic Department has named Harry Doig as September’s Student-Athlete of the Month. This accolade honors student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding commitment in both their respective sport, as well as the classroom.

Harry Doig, a sophomore from Sydney, Australia had a spectacular September on the course. His scoring average is at 71 through 8 rounds of competition. He has produced rounds of 67 this fall already and has shot even par or better 4 times. Harry won the Warrior Challenge with scores of 67, 72, 67 equaling 206. He has been a part of two team victories so far this fall. Harry is also an RA on campus and holds a 3.6 GPA in the classroom. Coach Mulholland said “Harry continues to impress with how consistently he produces low scores on the golf course. He understands his game and how to get the best out of himself in competition as well as practice. With the confidence he has already, I look forward to seeing what he can produce for the rest of the year both on and off the course.”
