Centerville -- Indian Hills and Kirkwood split a pair of games at Pat Daugherty Field on Thursday, the Falcons winning 10-2 and the Eagles coming back for a 4-0 victory.

IHCC was down 1-0 going into the bottom of the 4th inning in the opener, then scored three runs in each of the next two frames and four more in the 6th to pull out the win.  Ryan Humeniuk and Jay Hester pounded home runs for the winners and Zach Fascia doubled three times.  Christian Pena and Jameson Hart also had two-base hits.  Humeniuk, Fascia, Pena and Hart produced two-RBI games and Alex Fisher and Hester drove in the other runs.  Six IHCC pitchers combined to permit only four hits.  Corey Jackson was credited with the win and Genki Muroi finished up by getting the final six outs, the only hurler to go more than one inning.

Will Zimmerman had the lone Indian Hills hit in game two, a single, as Kirkwood scored all of its runs in the 2nd inning of a 4-0 victory.  This time, the Falcons employed seven pitchers with Ray Nolan tagged with the loss.

Indian Hills will now host Iowa Western in a four-game weekend series designated as Parents Weekend for the Falcons.
