Warriors 2nd, Bugdalski 3rd at CMU

Boonville, Missouri -- Indian Hills used two top-five finishes and four players in the top 14 scores to grab second place in the Central Missouri Fall Eagle Open. The Warriors wound up 13 shots behind Missouri Valley, which posted a five-stroke advantage over IHCC after the opening round and expanded the margin over the second 18 holes in the event played at the Hail Ridge Golf Course.

IHCC sophomore Jackson Bugdalski followed up a three-under par 68 with an even-par round of 71 to claim 3rd place with a 139 total, three shots in back of medalist Frederik Lundsgaard of William Penn.

Jakub Bares was next for Indian Hills, shooting rounds of two-under 69 and one-over 72, good for a tie for 5th at 141. Eric Gilpin gave the Warriors a 3rd player in the top 10, recovering from an opening-round 76 to fire a one-under par 70 and tie for 10th place with a score of 146.

Indian Hills returns to action Oct. 3-4 in the Zach Johnson Invitational which will be played at the Harvester Course in rural Marshall County, near Rhodes.
