Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills golf team placed six golfers on the fall 2016 Academic All-Region team released by the conference office. Three of the Warriors honored were on the first team made up of those with a grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0. Three were named to the second team, for GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49.

Clayton Larsen, Ekkarat Leksuwan and Eric Gilpin were named to the academic first team. Jace Mueller, Jackson Bugdalski and Julien Sale were the second team selections.

Indian Hills had a total of 81 student-athletes on either the first or second team academic honor list. That's nearly 60 percent of all the individuals on fall rosters.
