Ottumwa -- The No. 1-ranked Indian Hills Warriors parlayed a 33-0 season record into the top seed for next week's NJCAA National Basketball Championship.  The Warriors, who earned an automatic berth with their 88-76 win over North Dakota State College of Science in last Thursday's District Championship game, will be making a fifth consecutive trip to the national tourney and the program's 14th overall.

Indian Hills, the lone unbeaten in NJCAA Division I, will begin their quest for a national title in the 2:00 game on Tuesday, Mar. 20.  They will play the winner of a game that will tip off the tournament at 10:00 on Monday morning, a contest pitting Barton (Kans.) against Tyler (Tex.).

This is the sixth year that the NJCAA has seeded the 24 teams that will play in the tournament and the second time Indian Hills has been the top seed.  IHCC was also given the No. 1 seed for the 2014 tourney and lost in the title game that year to No. 11 seed Jones County (Miss.).
