Ottumwa -- Indian Hills sophomore guard Shane Gatling, who earlier was named to two All-American teams, has garnered more postseason recognition with the announcement that he has been selected to play in a college basketball All-Star game in May.

Gatling is one of 12 NJCAA Division I players chosen to take part in the 2018 NJCAA Men's Basketball Coaches All-Star Game presented by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).  The game will be played on Saturday, May 19, at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

The contest will pit Division I junior college players against a team of all-stars from DII and DIII teams.

Gatling earned the invite to the game after helping lead Indian Hills to a 33-1 season and a fifth straight national tournament appearance.  He has been named an All-American by the NJCAA and the NABC.
