Big 2nd Half Fuels IHCC Road Win

Mason City, Iowa -- Coming off a big win against No. 7 ranked Marshalltown CC their last time out, it took the Indian Hills Warriors one half to get going on Tuesday. But once they got untracked, the Warriors scored four times in the final half and knocked off NIACC, 4-2.

Akean Shackleford continued the strong start to his freshman season with his 6th and 7th goals as Indian Hills won its 3rd straight and improved its season mark to 3-2.

After NIACC's Elliot Chapman and Bailey Foster scored first-half goals for the Trojans, Shackleford converted twice in the second half and IHCC teammates Leandro Oshiro and Pablo Bianchi also scored. It was Oshiro's second goal of the fall and Bianchi's first.

The Warriors will play at home this Saturday against Iowa Central, one of the preseason favorites to contend for the conference title.
