Indian Hills Falls at No. 4 Iowa Western

Council Bluffs, Iowa -- The Indian Hills attack, which had accounted for seven goals in each of the past two games, was held in check on Wednesday and fourth-ranked Iowa Western used a first-half goal by Leandro Avila and second half scores from Kwesi Allen and Solomon Constant in blanking IHCC, 3-0, on Wednesday.

The Warriors were outshot 17-3 and had a six-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of the Reivers and goalkeeper Carlos Herrera.

IHCC keeper Gabriel Ivlev had seven saves as the Warriors suffered their first loss since a 3-2 defeat against Hawkeye CC on Aug. 31.

Indian Hills looks to bounce back on Saturday when they take on Iowa Lakes at the IHCC field. The Warriors are hoping to avenge a season-opening 2-0 loss to the Lakers.
