Warriors Blank Hawkeye for 4th in a Row

Barroso

Waterloo, Iowa -- Indian Hills got a goal late in the first half and another just after halftime and used those scores to whitewash Hawkeye CC, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon.

David Medeiros knocked home the goal, his team-leading seventh of the year, in the 37th minute to open the scoring for Indian Hills.  A minute into the second period, Gustavo Barroso notched his sixth goal and that was all the Warriors would need in posting their fourth win in a row and their seventh overall.  Indian Hills has allowed just a single goal in the four wins in their current streak and has given up either zero goals or one goal in all seven of their victories.

Matthew Desfossez had the shutout for IHCC, the freshman's second clean sheet of the season.  He had to make only one save in shutting down the RedTails.

The Warriors travel to Burlington on Monday for a makeup game with Southeastern CC.
