IHCC Edges SCC on Moore's Goal

Moore

Burlington, Iowa -- Dylan Moore, a sophomore midfielder from Brisbane, Australia, picked a great time to score his first goal of the season for Indian Hills.  Moore punched in a goal off an assist by David Medeiros in the 85th minute to allow IHCC to come from behind and defeat Southeastern, 5-4, Monday.

Moore's score followed an own goal for IHCC four minutes earlier that knotted the game at 4-all.

SCC's Jack Kimber tallied a pair of goals in the second half around an IHCC goal by Medeiros.  Kimber's second goal put Southeastern on top, 4-3.

IHCC's Filippo Reggio started the scoring with his 4th goal of the year, assissted by Medeiros.  Medeiros scored his first of two goals later in the half and the teams were even at 2-2 at intermission.

The Warriors had a big advantage, 42-12, in shots.  IHCC keeper Matthew Desfossez had one save.

The win was the 5th in a row for Indian Hills, now 8-3-1 on the year.  They will be at home for the final two regular season games -- against Dakota County Tech on Saturday and Illinois Central on Oct. 16.
