Ottumwa -- Freshman David Medeiros beat Illinois Central goalkeeper Vinicius Lorenzetti on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute for the only goal of the game and Indian Hills wrapped up regular-season play with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday at the IHCC field.

Medeiros' goal was his team-best 12th of the season and pushed the Warriors' winning streak to seven heading into postseason play.

IHCC keeper Matthew Desfossez recorded his third clean sheet by stopping all seven Illinois Central shots on goal, six of them coming in the second half, the final one in the last minute of regulation.

The Warriors (10-3-1) now set their sights on defending their ICCAC postseason tournament title.  As the number-three seed, they will host NIACC on Saturday.
