Indian Hills Men Bury Scott 11-0

Barroso

Bettendorf, Iowa -- Back-to-back goals by Vincent Grillot, just three minutes apart in the first half, started Indian Hills on the way to an 11-0 rout of Scott CC on Wednesday.  Grillot completed a hat trick by finishing off the scoring just before the final horn.

The Warriors, now 6-1-1 for the season, also got a pair of goals from Bruno Sperandio and Rodrigo Rogatto in their highest-scoring game of the fall.  They have allowed just six goals and have outscored the last two opponents, 19-0.

After Grillot's two early goals, Sperandio, David Medeiros, Takumi Semba and Sperandio, again, all scored to make it 6-0 at intermission.  Damien Baltide got the second-half scoring underway in the 58th minute, followed by scores from Gustavo Barroso, Rogatto (twice) and Grillot, with Rui Tsubakihara assisting on the final tally.  Grillot had two assists to go along with his trio of goals.

Vinicius Cadengue needed to make only two saves in goal for the Warriors in his second shutout.

IHCC takes on Hawkeye CC at the IHCC field on Saturday afternoon, then travels to Marshalltown for an important conference road test next Tuesday.
