Haris Miftari arrived at Indian Hills as an assistant men's soccer coach before the start of the 2019 fall season after spending a year as an assistant at his alma mater.  He is assisting head coach Juan Espinal with the Warriors.

Miftari graduated from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia, and then spent the '18 season as an assistant coach with the men's team at the NCAA Division II school that plays in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.  He was an academy coach for the U16 boys team of the Des Moines Menace during the summer of 2018.

His collegiate soccer playing career began at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge so he will be familiar with the conference that Indian Hills plays in since ICCC is a rival of the Warriors.  Miftari captained the Iowa Central team as a sophomore and then was a captain for the two years he played at Alderson Broaddus where he was also named to the academic all-conference team both years.

Miftari earned his associates degree at Iowa Central and then got his bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business administration from Alderson Broaddus.
