Storm Lake, Iowa -- Indian Hills had seven top-three finishes and placed second out of four teams in the Region XI Indoor Championships at the Lamberti Recreation Center on the Buena Vista University campus.

Nathan Winters continued his superb season in the shot put, coming in 2nd with a throw of 53',2 1/4". Javaris Logan picked up the other 2nd-place for the Warriors, leaping 40'-3.5" in the triple jump.

Colton Lanman jumped 6'2" for 3nd in the high jump. Joseph Stewart claimed 3rd in the 400 meters with a time of 50.79. And Demitrius Mitchell ran 8.34 in the 60 meter hurdles for 3rd place.

Both the 4x800 (Garrett Hinson, Zach Hougland, Jared Draper, Luke Sigler) and distance medley (Cody Mathis, Cody McNeil, Curtis Ford, Jack Hastings) relay units were 3rd, and the 4x400 quartet of Andrew Hart, Mitchell, Rahman Burton, and Stewart was 4th.

Hougland was 5th in the 3000 meters (9:26.90), Sigler was 6th in the mile (4:33.03), Hinson was 6th in 800 meters (2:05.89) and Burton was 6th in the 400 (53.66).

The Warriors had 89 team points. Iowa Central won its 12th straight indoor region championship.
