Fort Dodge, Iowa -- In temperatures that didn't quite reach 40 degrees, the Indian Hills men's cross country team took part in the Region XI Championships on Sunday.  The 8k course was at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course with all of the ICCAC squads participating.

Clayton Grainger paced the IHCC runners, coming in 24th place in 28:17.4.  Grainger's time was just three seconds ahead of teammate Joshua Keller, who ran 28:20.4 for 25th place.

Grainger and Keller were at the front of an IHCC pack of six competitors who were separated by only 90 seconds.

Cameron Schroeder was 29th (28:40.4) and Zach Hougland right behind in 30th place (28:43.6).  Next for the Warriors were the duo of Cody Denniston and Doug Turner, running nearly side-by-side and winding up less than five seconds apart in 37th and 38th place, respectively.

Closing out the IHCC results were Cody Mathis in 42nd place and Kaleb Wischmeier in 70th.
