Centerville -- In its first season of competition, the IHCC sports shooting team had six of its members named to the Spring Academic All-Region team announced by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0 to be on the first team; a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 is needed to be selected to the second team.

IHCC sports shooting team members on the academic all-region first team are Brett Nace, Dylan Perkins, Ryan Romanco, and Tristan Schaefer.  Blake Lawless and Case Scieszinski are on the second team.

In all, 82 IHCC student-athletes whose sports competed during the spring term made the academic all-region teams.
