Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills women's soccer team has been named an academic Honorable Mention Team by the National Junior College Athletic Association for compiling a grade point average of better than 3.0 for 2015-16.

The squad's GPA was 3.18, making it one of the top academic teams in the nation.

A total of 10 IHCC athletic teams were honored by the NJCAA for their work in the classroom this past academic year.
