IHCC Women's Soccer Has Three Signees

Ottumwa -- Three sophomores who played key roles during the most successful women's soccer season in Indian Hills history have signed National Letters of Intent for next year with four-year schools.

The Warriors, 16-4-1 in 2016, will send Stephanie Faust (Grundy Center, Iowa) on to Caldwell University in New Jersey, Marta Lopez (Valencia, Spain) to Goldy-Beacom College in Delaware, and Hannah Till (Burnley, England) to Northern Michigan University.

Faust, who anchored the Warriors' defense for two years, was a first-team all-region player as a freshman and second-team this past season. She was named the Defensive Player of the Tournament in last fall's Region XI tourney.

Till had three goals and two assists as a sophomore. She was a second-team Academic All-Region selection.

Lopez, also second-team Academic All-Region, was one of the top two goalkeepers on the 2016 Warriors. She was 9-1 in the net and allowed only five goals in 12 matches. She posted three shutouts and had a .872 save percentage.
