Waterloo, Iowa -- Posting her fifth clean sheet of the season, and having to make only one save in the process, freshman keeper Megan Wick led Indian Hills to a 4-0 blanking of Hawkeye CC on Saturday as the Indian Hills women's soccer team claimed its 10th win. The win came four days after the Warriors suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss at Iowa Central.
Following a scoreless first half, Emily Murphy got the scoring started with an IHCC goal in the 50th minute, Murphy's 26th of the year. Carmen Kager tallied a pair of goals just under three minutes apart to pad the lead to 3-0 and Charlyann Pizzarello put the finishing touches of the victory with her fourth score.
Meanwhile, Wick kept Hawkeye without a goal as the IHCC defense severely limited the home team's scoring chances.
Indian Hills will play a makeup game at Southeastern CC on Monday afternoon.
