Murphy

Burlington, Iowa -- Indian Hills got hat tricks from Emily Murphy and Emma Rosner and routed Southeastern, 8-0, Monday for the Warriors' 11th win of the season.

Murphy scored three times in the opening half and added her 30th goal of the fall in the second.  Rosner assisted on Murphy's second goal, then scored an unassisted goal in the first period and tacked on a pair of second-half scores.  The assist for Rosner was her team-high 14th, tied for 6th in the nation.

Murphy's total of 30 goals is 5th in the NJCAA and she has 12 assists for 72 points, also 5th in the country.

Molly Kellar started the IHCC scoring with a Murphy assist.  Kellar, Murphy and Rosner combined for 22 of Indian Hills' 36 shots.

Julie Gouilliart, Carmen Kager and Charlyann Pizzarello all had second-half assists.  Kager assisted on two goals for the day.

IHCC keeper Megan Wick only had to make one save.  The shutout was her second in a row, third in the last four matches, and 6th overall.

The Warriors are 11-3 and they have just one regular-season contest remaining, at home against Dakota County Technical College Saturday afternoon.
