Warriors Compete at National Meet

Pittsburg, Kansas -- Kaysha Dodson was 10th in the high jump to highlight the IHCC women's team's performance at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Dodson set a new school record with her jump of 1.61 meters (5'3") for the top-ten finish in the event.

Two other IHCC athletes competed at the meet, which marks the end of the indoor season. Amanda Wakelin came in 15th in the 600 meters in a time of 1:45.97, and Aryka Parsons was 18th in the 1000 meters in 3:11.23.

The focus shifts to the outdoor portion of the 2017 schedule with the Warriors slated to participate in the Grand View Invitational in Des Moines on Mar. 24.
