Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams had cumulative grade point averages that qualified them for recognition as All-Academic Teams by the NJCAA for the 2018-19 academic year. The indoor squad's GPA was 3.15 and the outdoor team had a 3.13 GPA.
In addition, IHCC's Ashley Miller earned a spot on the NJCAA All-Academic Second Team for compiling a GPA between 3.80 and 3.99 and Payton Gwinn was named to the Third Team for having a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.
Eight different Indian Hills teams, including the two from track and field, were honored as All-Academic Teams and 33 IHCC student-athletes earned a place on one of the three All-Academic teams.
