West Burlington, Iowa -- Indian Hills, rated No. 13 in the NJCAA poll that was released earlier in the day, kept its season record unblemished on Wednesday with a 3-0 win over Southeastern CC.
The Warriors 8th straight victory to begin the campaign came in straight sets, as they polished off SCC, 25-11, 25-17 and 25-9.
Jessica Da Silva's kill ended the first set and the Warriors were on the way to their 6th straight-set win in 8 matches.
On Friday, Indian Hills will return home for the first time since defeating DMACC in the season opener, the Warriors taking on Jefferson (Mo.) College at 6:00. IHCC will take part in a tournament hosted by Marshalltown CC on Saturday, playing three matches in that event.
An early-season showdown with No. 4 Iowa Western is set for Sept. 14 in Council Bluffs.
