Warriors Suffer First Loss

Ottumwa -- In a battle of two teams ranked in the top 15 in the country, No. 15 Jefferson (Mo.) College came into the Hellyer Center on Friday night and knocked off No. 13 Indian Hills, winning in three sets. The Vikings handed the Warriors their first loss of the season after eight straight victories, sweeping IHCC, 25-23, 25-23 and 25-19.

Bailey Darnall led IHCC at the net with eight of the team's 23 kills. Antonia Ivanovic had 14 digs and two freshmen, Reagan Moeller and Mackenzie Lauer, each had five blocks.

Indian Hills is right back in action on Saturday, playing twice in the MCC Tiger Invitational in Marshalltown. The Warriors will take on Lincoln Land (Ill.) CC and Southwestern CC.
