IHCC Volleyball Wins 2 More

Fort Dodge, Iowa -- Indian Hills lost its first set of the day, then ran off six straight set wins and claimed two matches in the Iowa Central Invitational on Friday. After dropping the opening set to Iowa Central 25-23, the Warriors rolled by taking the next three, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17. They followed up that victory by taking down the Grand View JV, 27-25, 25-17, 25-11, a decision that pushed the current win streak to 18 consecutive matches.

Bailey Darnall slammed 27 kills against the host Tritons and the Warriors benefitted from 12 service aces, including four by Darnall. Chen Shenglan and Antonija Ivanovic each had 18 digs and Darnall had 14.

Darnall blasted 16 more kills against the Grand View JV and Camila Nicoletti had 10. Ivanovic chipped in 10 digs as Indian Hills improved to 27-3 for the season.

The Warriors will face off against Highland (Kans.) CC and the William Penn JV in IHCC's own quadrangular on Saturday.
