Council Bluffs, Iowa -- Iowa Western clinched the conference regular season title with a sweep of Indian Hills at Kanesville Arena Tuesday night.  The Reivers defeated the Warriors for the second time this fall, beating IHCC, 25-13, 25-20, 25-22.  Iowa Western is perfect at 4-0 in the league while the Warriors are 1-2 with a match remaining with Marshalltown.

The hosts shot out to a quick 12-5 lead in the opening set which established the tone for the match.  Indian Hills got to within 23-20 in the middle set and 21-20 in set three, but Iowa Western won the key points in both to complete the sweep.  The Reivers had beaten IHCC, 3-1, last month in the Hellyer Center.

Jessica Da Silva had eight kills and Shenglan Chen eight digs to lead IHCC in those stats.  Cecilia Campos was in on five blocks and Laisa Telles Maeda had 20 assists as the Warriors drop to 22-10 overall.  Iowa Western is 21-1.

Indian Hills faces a big challenge this weekend with four tough matches at the Missouri State-West Plains tournament.  They will battle Jefferson (Mo.) and Tyler (Tex.) on Friday, and square off against Panola (Tex.) and the host school Saturday.
