Boone, Iowa -- The Indian Hills volleyball team, which earlier in the day jumped one spot to No. 6 in the national rankings, won its 14th straight match Monday night, a 3-0 sweep of home-standing Des Moines Area CC.  The Warriors, in their next-to-last regular season outing, took the sets, 25-14, 25-12, 25-16, to go to 32-3 for the season.  It's the sixth time an IHCC team has won 32 matches in a year, and the first since 2015.

IHCC was led at the net by Mariana Rodrigues with 12 kills and Thayna Birimba with 10.  Birimba hit .438.  Rodrigues also paced Indian Hills with 16 digs.  Setter Cassia Lemos had 39 assists and 10 digs.  Amanda Toyota gave IHCC three players with 10+ digs with her 10.  The Warriors had 10 ace serves, three of them by Natalia Araujo.

Indian Hills wraps up regular-season play with a match at Iowa Western on Wednesday night.  A Warrior win would allow them to tie IWCC for the conference title.
