Rounding out the top-5 scoring effort for Indian Hills included: sophomore Ashlyn Elmore (126th), freshman Halley Wilmes (144th), and sophomore Traci Ervin (162nd). All recorded personal or season bests.

Coach Ewing said after the race, "Our women continue to show improvement from week to week. Our spread from 1-5 continues to shrink. They did a great job of getting out harder this week. I think it's just a matter of them trusting themselves in the middle part of the race. I'm confident that our pack will continue to move up as the season goes forward."

The IHCC Warrior Cross Country team will return to action this Friday, September 28 at the Blugold Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Eau-Claire. Race time is slated for 4:30 p.m.
