Sophomore Kento Tani of the Indian Hills Men's Soccer team has been selected as the Indian Hills Community College August Male Student-Athlete of the Month. The sophomore has helped lead the Warriors into the national rankings for the first time since 2019.

After finishing second on the team in scoring as a freshman, Tani has gotten off to a strong start to his sophomore campaign. The forward scored four goals and added an assist while starting all five matches in the month of August for the Warriors. After adding three goals and four assists in the first two matches of September, Tani ranks third in the nation in goals and second nationally with 19 points.

Tani was selected to the 2021 ICCAC Fall All-ACademic Team and is a liberal arts major at Indian Hills.
