Ottumwa -- Indian Hills Head Cheer Coach Cyndi Mellin has set the date for two clinics the IHCC dance and cheer teams will offer, with both camps on Tuesday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Hellyer Student Life Center on the Ottumwa campus.

A kids cheer clinic will be held that day for those in grades 1-6.  It will focus on teaching the youngsters chants, jumps, stunts and the IHCC fight song.  The cost to attend is $20 and in addition to the instruction the participants will receive a cheer bow.  The attendees should bring along their own water bottle.

In conjunction with the younger kids clinic, those in grades 7-12 will be offered a college prep clinic the same day during the same time.  This clinic will concentrate on jumps and stunting.  The price is $15.
