Ottumwa -- The Indian Hills men's soccer team, fresh off a win in the Region XI title match with Iowa Western, have been given the number-five seed and will play in Pool D for next week's NJCAA Division I National Championship.  The three-team pool also includes the schools that have won the last three national titles, Tyler (Tex.) and Louisburg (N.C.).

Coach Jon Fridal's Warriors, 17-2 for the year, will attempt to advance out of their pool to get into the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 17.  The championship match will be the following day at Mountain Valley Field in Prescott, Arizona.

The tourney gets underway on Monday, Nov. 13.  There are four pools of three teams each.

Tyler beat Monroe (N.Y.), 2-0, to take the 2016 national title; Louisburg defeated Tyler, 1-0, in two overtimes the previous year; Tyler knocked off Monroe, 2-1, in 2014.  Tyler owns five of the last eight championships in DI.

Undefeated and top-ranked St. Louis CC goes into action as the number-one seed.
