FIVE WARRIORS PR AT GRAND VIEW INVITE

Ankeny, IA – Brady Millikin (Hedrick, IA/Pekin) took home fifth-place at the 2022 Grand View Invitational on Saturday to lead the Indian Hills Men's Cross Country team to a seventh-place team showing. Five Warriors hit personal bests on the day.

Millikin has now placed in the top five in two of the team's three meets this year after a strong showing on Saturday. The sophomore was the sixth overall finisher, but the fifth collegiate runner to cross the line with a time of 26:08.95 for a new personal best. Millikin has now posted collegiate bests in both the 6k and 8k events this year.

Freshman Brody Lucas' (Norwalk, IA/Norwalk) strong start to his collegiate career continued with a 24th-place showing and a time of 27:46.76, a new personal best.

Logan Soedt (Eldridge, IA/North Scott) finished as the third Warrior to cross the line with a personal-best time of 29:10.52 followed by Zach Wise's (Packwood, IA/Pekin) time of 29:50.09 in his collegiate debut. Freshman Ty Earls (Corydon, IA/Wayne County) rounded out the scoring with a time of 31:03.45, also a personal best.

Freshman Jacchaeus Taylor (Kansas City, MO/Raytown) added a time of 32:02.54 and sophomore Weston Shively (Bloomfield, IA/Davis County) capped the Warriors' performance with a time of 32:59.59.

Indian Hills will head to the Seminole Valley Stamped in Cedar Rapids, IA on October 8.
