Indianola, Iowa -- The Indian Hills sports shooting team put the wraps on its fall schedule with a third-place finish at the Grand View Vikings Invitational last weekend. Nathan Welch and Ryan Foster paced the IHCC shooters with scores of 91, Tristan Bakalar and Austin Dinsmore followed with 87s, and Jason Herr, Caleb Langgin and John Williams all had 84s. The Indian Hills team score was 440 at the meet at the Izaak Walton League.
Coach Jake Stalzer says, after taking the winter off, his squad is tentatively planning to begin the spring season with a trip to San Antonio, Texas for the ACUI Collegiate Nationals in late March. They will open conference duals against Hawkeye CC at the Izaak Walton League in Waterloo on April 6.
