Ottumwa -- In a search for opponents and dry fields to play on, Indian Hills managed to get four games in over the weekend, with the Warriors dividing those four contests.

On Friday, IHCC knocked off Johnson County (Kans.), 9-6, thanks to a pair of homers and five RBIs from freshman Brooke Snider.  Macey Harrington and Chloe Olson also homered and Brittni Lloyd had two hits, two steals and three runs scored.  Harrington produced a two-hit game and two RBIs.  Alexis Groet, who would have a busy weekend with three starts in the four games, got the complete-game win with a nine-strikeout effort.  Indian Hills broke a 4-4 tie with five runs in the 5th inning.

Later on Friday, the Warriors dropped an 11-7 game to Jefferson (Mo.).  Snider homered again, her 7th of the spring, and also singled and doubled, scoring three times.  Olson had a triple and a home run, Jaylie Reints tripled and Lloyd had two hits.  Jakala Hall started and took the loss with Nina Hendriks working two innings in relief.

The next day, IHCC edged Ft. Scott (Kans.), 3-2.  Groet threw a five-hitter and fanned 11 while going the distance.  Harrington had a solo homer, Lloyd supplied two hits and two runs scored and Snider, Reints and Olson each had a hit.

The Warriors wrapped up their trip on Sunday with a 6-3 defeat against Murray State.  Snider went 3-for-3, Lloyd had a two-hit game, and Jordan Hollon doubled and scored.  Groet allowed six hits and struck out six in taking the loss. 

Indian Hills is scheduled to play at DMACC on Thursday and then travel to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M for two doubleheaders this weekend.
