Ottumwa -- A signing ceremony at Indian Hills on May 2 brought together many of the IHCC student-athletes who signed letters of intent with four-year schools where they will continue their athletic and academic careers. 

Among those recognized was Indian Hills softball catcher Alexis Westercamp.  The sophomore from Oskaloosa will be attending Briar Cliff University in the fall.  Her coach, Lindsay Diehl, said, "Alexis has become an important piece of the puzzle for this year's Warrior team.  She does a great job behind the plate and works well with our pitchers.  Her bat in the lineup has also made a lot of noise this season in big moments.  She will continue to grow at Briar Cliff and we wish her nothing but the best!"
