Six All-Region Picks for Women's Soccer

Ottumwa -- Led by the high-scoring duo of Emily Murphy and Emma Rosner, Indian Hills had six members on the Women's Soccer All-Region teams.  Murphy and Rosner were chosen to the first team, Miranda Kurtt and Charlyann Pizzarello were second-team picks, and Julie Gouilliart and Jocelyn Walker made the honorable mention list.

Murphy's record-breaking freshman season included 37 goals and 15 assists for 89 points.  She had hat tricks in eight games, with a high of five goals in a win against Southeastern.  Rosner, like Murphy a forward, led IHCC with 17 assists and the sophomore had the same number of goals, 17, for 51 points with three hat tricks.

Kurtt, a freshman forward, tallied nine goals with 10 assists and had four two-goal games.  Pizzarello provided seven goals and 11 assists to the Warriors' 13-4 season as a sophomore defender.

Gouilliart, a freshman midfielder, had nine assists and scored two goals.  Walker is a sophomore defender who helped IHCC hold its opponents to just 15 goals in 17 matches with eight shutouts.
