Ottumwa -- Indian Hills got two goals each from Madison L. Meyer and Emily Murphy and defeated Southeastern CC, 4-1, on Thursday afternoon at the IHCC field.

The win came after the Warriors had tied Iowa Lakes, 1-1, their last time out, ending a nine-game winning streak to begin the season.

Meyer got the scoring started against the Black Hawks with a goal in the 29th minute, assisted by Murphy.  Then, it was Murphy's turn to score, her goal six minutes later her 21st of the season, was set up by a feed from Kiri Chiba.  Southeastern came right back with a goal a minute after Murphy's tally and it was 2-1 at the half.

Meyer and Murphy scored ten minutes apart in the final period with Chiba assisting on both goals for the final margin.

Elani Mears had four saves in goal for IHCC.

The Warriors go to Mason City to take on NIACC this Saturday.
