Cedar Rapids, Iowa -- In a busy week in which it will play four matches on the road, Indian Hills defeated Kirkwood CC in three sets on Thursday night, the Warriors winning 25-16, 25-20, 25-21.  The victory was the 11th in a row to begin the season for the 12th-ranked Warriors.

Mariana Rodrigues led IHCC in kills with 13 and was one of three Warriors, along with Amanda Toyota and Thayna Birimba, to have two ace serves.  Birimba contributed nine kills and a .421 hitting percentage.  Setter Cassia Lemos distributed 40 assists and led IHCC with 11 digs.  The Warriors hit .393 for the match, their second-highest total for the season.

Indian Hills turns right around and plays a pair of matches in Columbus, Neb., on Friday, taking on Central CC and Northeast CC.
