WARRIORS ANNOUNCE INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIP WITH NIL LEADER OPENDORSE

INDIAN HILLS ATHLETICS - WARRIOR NIL MARKETPLACE

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Athletic Department has announced a strategic partnership with Opendorse to support Warrior student-athletes in the area of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). The partnership will maximize annual NIL support for more than 300 student-athletes at Indian Hills.

"I'm excited to partner with Opendorse," stated Dr. Brett Monaghan, Indian Hills Vice President of Student Development & Operations and Athletic Director. "As the leader in name, image, and likeness support for collegiate student-athletes, Opendorse will allow our student-athletes to engage in NIL activities, providing them guidance now as a two-year collegiate student-athlete and in the future as they continue their athletic and academic careers. NIL is here to stay and I want to ensure that our student-athletes and athletic staff are the frontrunners in understanding how this can positively attribute to their student-athlete experience at Indian Hills."

Through the partnership with Opendorse, Indian Hills Athletics will launch the Warrior NIL Marketplace where fans, businesses, donors, and sponsors can engage, contact, and support Indian Hills student-athletes directly through their own unique profiles. Each individual student-athlete at Indian Hills will be eligible to create and customize a digital profile that addresses their personal goals and needs in the Marketplace while also promoting their opportunities through personal social media channels

The Opendorse platform will also support the student-athletes with both educational opportunities and management of reviewing, fulfilling, and disclosing deals along with receiving compensation directly for Indian Hills student-athletes. Opendorse will provide student-athletes with in-person and virtual educational tutorials and seminars to guide them in the areas of compliance at both the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and NCAA levels, along with management and customization of their own unique Marketplace portfolios.

Opendorse became the official NIL partner of the NJCAA in August, 2022 and has generated over $28,000 for student-athletes at the two-year level since launching. Indian Hills becomes the first Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) member to launch an NIL Marketplace with Opendorse.
