NOVEMBER HY-VEE STUDENT-ATHLETES OF THE MONTH

Ottumwa, IA – The Indian Hills Athletic Department has announced the Hy-Vee November Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Month. Freshman Brooke Miller (Fairfield, IA/Pekin) of the women's cross country and sophomore Gaspar Glaudas (Sainte Tulle, France/Shattuck St-Mary's) of the men's golf team have been honored for the month of November.

Miller put together one of the best performances at a national championship in program history for the Warriors, breaking the 20:00 plateau for the first time in her career to lead the Warriors at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Cross Country National Championship in Huntsville, AL.

Miller, who was named to the NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team at the Region championship in October, posted a time of 19:52.60 at the national championship, the second-fastest time in school history and fastest since Lauren Jones' All-American performance in 2007.

Glaudas was tapped as the No. 1 individual golfer in the nation in the month of November after a standout fall season for the Warriors, currently ranked No. 2 in the nation. Glaudas was also awarded the Golf Coaches Association of America SwingU Golfer of the Month on November 20 after leading the Warriors.

Glaudas led the Warriors in four of the team's five events throughout the fall, including a top-10 finish at the NJCAA DI Men's Golf National Preview in Hobbs, NM.
