Tanner Foerschler joined the Indian Hills Baseball program in the summer of 2021 as an assistant coach. Foerschler works primarily with the infielders, hitters, and serves as the first base coach for the Warriors while aiding in the recruiting efforts of the program.

Foerschler comes to Indian Hills following one season at Colorado State University-Pueblo where he helped the team reach the RMAC Tournament. As a team, the Thunderwolves hit .301 on the year and scored multiple victories over nationally ranked opponents at the NCAA DII level, including No. 1 ranked Colorado Mesa.

Prior to his time at CSU-Pueblo, Foerschler spent two seasons at the University of Central Missouri where he served as the team's hitting coach and baserunning coach. At Central Missouri, the Mules went 66-19 overall and in 2019, the team led all levels of college baseball in double plays turned with an average of 1.0 per game. The offense led the nation with 722 hits.

Foerschler spent the 2018 season as the assistant coach at Kansas City Kansas Community College and helped the Blue Devils win 34 games.

Foerschler's collegiate playing career began as Kansas City Kansas where he was awarded the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove at First Base after posting a .995 fielding percentage. Foerschler was awarded Second-Team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors. Following his time at KCKCC, Foerschler attended William Jewell College where he hit .308 as a senior. 

Foerschler received his bachelor's degree in Sports & Recreation from William Jewell and his master's degree in Sports Management from Central Missouri.
