CHEER COMPETES AT ROCK MOUNTAIN CLASSIC

Broomfield, CO – The Indian Hills Competitive Cheer team competed at the 2022 USA Rocky Mountain Classic on Saturday in the program's first-ever game day routine competition. The squad performed a timeout routine and the school's fight song.

"Our first performance for a game day routine went very well," stated head coach Cyndi Mellin. "I was extremely pleased – we have some things to work on, but there were some things we performed very well. The synchronization of the stunts was absolutely fantastic. The crowd loved Jocelyn Maw's front aerial."

A number of individuals competing for the Warriors were taking part in the first-ever collegiate cheer event, including Colby Porterfield, Samuel Carrasco, and Ceyera Jensen.

"Now that I know what to expect for our next competition, I'm looking forward to our next time out," stated Jensen.

"I thought it went very well and I'm excited to have more athletes with us at the next event," added Maw.
