GLAUDAS TAPPED AS ICCAC GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Gaspar Glaudas (Sainte Tulle, France/Shattuck St-Mary’s) of the Indian Hills Men’s Golf team has been named this week’s Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Golfer of the Week. The Warriors have now earned back-to-back weekly honors from the conference office.

Glaudas helped lead the No. 8 ranked Warriors to its second consecutive victory to open the 2022 season with a 15-stroke victory at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate. Glaudas fired a 5-under 139 in the 36-hole event to record his first collegiate victory.

The freshman righty posted a 4-under 68 in the final round to pull away from the field, his second round in the 60’s this season. Glaudas has posted back-to-back top-five finishes this year after placing fifth at the Siouxland Invitational at the beginning of September.

Glaudas becomes the second Warrior to claim ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors after teammate Damien Osner (George, South Africa/Glenwood House) earned the weekly accolade on September 20.

The Warriors are in action at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Preview in Newton, KS at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
