GLAUDAS NAMED TO BEN HOGAN WATCH LIST

Fort Worth, TX – Sophomore Gaspar Glaudas (Sainte Tulle, France/Shattuck St-Mary's), the No. 1 ranked golfer in the nation, has been named to the prestigious watch list for the 2024 Ben Hogan Award presented by PNC Bank, announced Friday by the Hogan Trophy Award Foundation, the Friends of Golf, and the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Gaspar, a member of the No. 1 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Golf team, is one of just 40 individuals across all levels of collegiate golf to be named to the watch list. Glaudas is one of just two individuals from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and the lone NJCAA DI golfer recognized. Additionally Glaudas is one of just four sophomores on this year's list.

Ranked No. 1 in the latest Scoreboard NJCAA Rankings Powered by Clippd, Glaudas has maintained his spot atop the national rankings since November after a remarkable fall campaign. the returning NJCAA First-Team All-American from a year ago at the national championship, Glaudas powered the defending national champs with four top-10 finishes in five fall evetns, including top honors at the Big O Classic in Nebraska and a fifth-place performance at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Des Moines.

Glaudas leads the individual national rankings by a large margin, checking in last week with 67.63 Average Weighted Points, more than 33 points ahead of the second-ranked individual.

The Warriors return to action for their chase to an eighth national title March 11-12 at the Lindenwood Invitational in St. Charles, MO.

The Ben Hogan Award presented by PNC Bank annually awards the top men's NCAA Division I, II or III, NAIA or NJCAA college golfer based on all collegiate, amateur and professional events over the previous 12 months.
