MCHENRY NAMED ICCAC ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Don McHenry (Milwaukee, WI/Hawaii-Hilo) poured in a game-high 19 points to lead No. 7 Indian Hills Men's Basketball to a top-20 road win over Southeastern Community College on Saturday. McHenry has been named this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week.

In the historic rivalry between the Warriors and Blackhawks, McHenry put together a memorable performance on the court to lead Indian Hills to a thrilling 59-56 victory. Faced with a 12-point deficit in the second half, McHenry ignited the offense with a pair of late three-point shots, including the go-ahead basket to lead Indian Hills to the win.

McHenry was an integral part of the Warriors' late-game 10-0 run as the guard contributed eight of those points. McHenry's three with under seven to play put Indian Hills ahead 49-48, the team's first lead since the opening minutes of the first half.

McHenry added three rebounds and two assists in the win. The sophomore has now led the Warriors in scoring seven contest this season. McHenry is averaging a team-high 13.2 points per game on the year.

Indian Hills returns to action in another nationally ranked road matchup as the Warriors head to No. 17 Triton College (IL) on Wednesday night.
