KALAMBAY EARNS SECOND ICCAC HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Enoch Kalambay (Gatineau, Canada/Orangeville Prep) posted a career-night to lead No. 6 Indian Hills Men's Basketball to a win on the road. Kalambay has been tapped as this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week.

Kalambay led the Warriors' to two convincing wins last week to push Indian Hills to 25-3 overall on the year. The weekly ICCAC honor is the second in a four-week span for the sophomore.

After helping lead the Warriors to a 92-37 victory at home over Carl Sandburg College (IL) on Wednesday night, Kalambay provided one of the top performances of his two-year career at Indian Hills on Saturday night vs. Highland Community College (IL).

The sophomore poured in a career-high 29 points on 11-16 shooting, including 4-7 from three-point range to help the Warriors to a 95-76 win and sweep the season series vs. the Cougars. Kalamaby also pulled down 10 rebounds and tallied a career-high four blocks.

The double-double was the sixth of the year for Kalambay who is now averaging a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game. Kalambay is also tied for the team lead with 2.9 assists per contest and ranks second on the team with 11.6 points per game.

As a team, the Warriors have now collected 10 ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors this year.

The Warriors are back in action Wednesday night at the Hellyer Center against North Central Missouri College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.
