LABEAUX EARNS SECOND ICCAC WEEKLY HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – Trevion LaBeaux's (Waterloo, IA/Ames) surge on the court continued last week as the standout sophomore collected his second Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week honor for his efforts.

LaBeaux collected a pair of double-doubles on the week while averaging 16.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game for the Warriors.

The sophomore opened up the week with a dominant showing on both ends of the court against No. 24 Northern Oklahoma College – Tonkawa, scoring 17 points while grabbing 18 rebounds, just one shy of his career-high as the Warriors dropped the Mavericks 88-82 at the Hellyer Center. LaBeaux shot 62.5 percent from the floor while adding three blocks, four assists, and a steal to fill the stat sheet.

The forward added seven rebounds, including four on the offensive glass to go along with a pair of steals.

LaBeaux closed out the week by leading the Warriors to an 88-72 win over the defending national champions John A. Logan College (IL) on Saturday night. LaBeaux recorded his third 20-point performance of the year with 21 points on 8-13 shooting.
