Following a series of postponements due to unfavorable weather, the Warriors are set to make their league opener Wednesday night against the Marshalltown Tigers.

STARTING FIVE

  • The Warriors checked in at No. 16 in this week's NJCAA national poll, falling four spots from its previous No. 12 rank.
  • Indian Hills heads into ICCAC play as the top-scoring team in the conference with 79.3 points per game.
  • The Warriors are the only team in the ICCAC to boast four players scoring in double-figures - Trevion LaBeaux (13.6), Braden Sparks (11.2), Kheni Briggs (10.4), and Davontae Hall (10.1).
  • Wednesday's game is the second of the team's four-game road trip after previously playing nine consecutive games at the Hellyer Center.
  • Originally scheduled to play at home vs. North Central Missouri Wendesday night, the Warriors' game vs. the Pirates has been moved to February 15 at the Hellyer Center with a 7:00 PM start.

LAST TIME OUT

The Warriors are coming off a loss at Sauk Valley Community College (IL) on January 11 that saw the team's six-game winning streak come to a halt. Indian Hills was led by a season-high 18 points from sophomore TJ Morris.

SERIES HISTORY

Indian Hills owns a 91-18 all-time record vs. the Tigers, dating back to the 1963-64 season. Indian Hills has picked up 23 consecutive wins over Marshalltown and have not lost since the 2013 season. The Warriors have won 14 straight at Marshalltown with its last loss coming in 2008.

Indian Hills has dropped the Tigers by 20-plus points in each of the last three meetings, including an average of 26.0 points per game during the team's two matchups last year.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS

Marshalltown enters Wednesday night with a 4-11 mark, with three wins coming on the team's home court.

  • Marshalltown has lost six games by single-digits this year, including a pair of one-point overtime losses.
  • The Tigers hae won two if its last three games heading into Wednesday's matchup vs. the Warriors.
