Ottumwa, IA – For the third time this season, sophomore Trevion LaBeaux (Waterloo, IA/Ames) has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week. LaBeaux led the Warriors to a pair of conference wins last week.

LaBeaux put together two dominant performances on the hardwood to lead No. 14 Indian Hills to a pair of double-digit road wins over league foes Marshalltown Community College and Southeastern Community College. The wins pushed the Warriors to a 14-4 overall on the year and 2-0 in ICCAC action.

In Wednesday's trip to Marshalltown, LaBeaux powered the Warriors with a career-high 30 points, scoring 15 in each half as Indian Hills ran away with an 82-52 win. LaBeaux shot 11-12 from the floor and 7-9 from the charity stripe to set a new personal scoring standard. The sophomore added nine rebounds in the win to go along with three steals and a pair of blocks.

LaBeaux followed up on Saturday night with his seventh double-double of the year against long-time foe Southeastern. The sophomore poured in 14 points to go along with 17 rebounds, two shy of LaBeaux's career-high. The forward added a pair of steals and a block in the win.

LaBeaux is currently one of just six individuals in the country to average 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting at least 50.0 percent from the floor. Of those six individuals, LaBeaux is the only one to hit at least 10 three-point shots on the year. LaBeaux is currently averaging 14.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks through 18 games this season while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three-point range.

The Warriors are back in action Wednesday night for a non-league matchup at Kankakee Community College (IL). Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM.
